I've passed by it before, but this is the first time I've tasted it. And it's not far from the restaurant where I used to work. Overall, the food is delicious, and the waiter is also very friendly. There is a thoughtful storage basket, and you can add noodles for internal use, but I am not sure whether there is an additional charge.

This place has the best noodles ever!!! The broth is amazing - a creamy white from the long, slow simmering prep of the chicken. Usually I have found noodle broth to be, well, broth. Clear and salty. This broth was elegantly velvety and had very little salt. The noodles could be cooked “normal” or very cooked or al-dente. I chose the latter and was not disappointed. I added vegetables and extra pork (both optional, with a very small added small cost). And they did not skimp on the portion of noodles. T found the service to be very attentive with no effort to rush us out. However, it was 2:00PM and the place was 50% full. Overall an amazing meal. Again, this place has the best noodles ever!!!

Maruhachi Ra-men in Vancouver's Westend is a must-visit! Their Aka Ramen, featuring a proprietary creamy chicken broth, was spectacular. The mild spice added a delightful warmth without overpowering the rich flavor. As a tourist from New York, I was impressed by the very generous portion size and the great price point. Each slurp was a satisfying blend of creamy broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The toppings were also excellent, adding to the overall exceptional experience. For authentic and delicious ramen in Vancouver, Maruhachi is a fantastic choice. Music - Japanese pop, servers and cooks are Japanese as well. Authentic all around and worth all the hype.

The chicken soup base ramen tasted very good. It had deep flavor soup and chewy noodles. Chashu was soft and no pork smell and the egg was special!
